By accessing or using the Lontreau.edu platform, creating an account, or activating a free trial, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lontreau Health Inc. ("Lontreau," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in Canada. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the platform following notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
Lontreau.edu is an online health education and community membership platform. Membership provides access to educational content including courses, programmes, challenges, a reference library, science updates, live sessions, and a private community space (collectively, "Content"). Access is provided through Circle, a third-party community platform. Your use of Circle is also subject to Circle's own terms of service.
Membership is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Pro membership is available at the standard rate of $40 CAD per month, or at a discounted rate where a promotional code has been applied at checkout. A 30-day free trial is available to new members via invitation link; no credit card is required and no charges are made automatically at the end of the trial period.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. The platform is not intended for use by minors.

It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice from a qualified healthcare provider. The information presented reflects current scientific research and is intended to support informed decision-making, not to replace clinical care. Use of the platform does not create a patient-provider relationship between you and Lontreau Health Inc. or any of its contributors.
Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You authorise us to charge your payment method on the same date each month. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Promotional pricing (including lifetime discounts applied via coupon code) is locked in for as long as your subscription remains active and is not subject to price increases, provided your subscription is not cancelled and reinstated.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Circle account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice to active subscribers.
All Content on the platform — including course materials, written content, videos, graphics, protocols, and research summaries — is the intellectual property of Lontreau Health Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Content for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any Content without our prior written consent. Sharing login credentials or providing access to the platform to non-members is strictly prohibited.
As a member of The Lab (our private community space), you agree to engage respectfully and constructively. You must not post content that is defamatory, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful. You must not share misinformation, spam, or unsolicited commercial content. You must not share personal health information of others without their consent.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards and to suspend or terminate the membership of any member who engages in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the community or inconsistent with the platform's values.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Lontreau Health Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform or its Content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lontreau Health Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, and contributors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) any content you submit to the community.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to the platform or its members. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario. You agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at hello@lontreau.com before initiating formal proceedings.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lontreau Health Inc. with respect to your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
